SUE SAAD - LOOKER (SINGLE VERSION)

I’d like to take a moment to revisit the song that was my very first post on this blog. At the time I was still trying to figure out how the blog works, what format to use, etc. And in looking back I realized what I had posted before was the film version of the song (which I had found online). Well, a couple months back I was fortunate enough to find the European 7” vinyl single of the song on Ebay. It was manufactured in Holland and I thank the gods a copy finally made it to my grubby little hands. This is the actual single version of the song, which is almost a minute longer!

I have been obsessed with this song since I was a young child. I watched the movie “Looker” so many times as I kid I started memorizing the dialogue. “Hi, I’m Cindy. I’m the perfect female type, 18 to 25. I’m here to sell for you…” I was always so angry that they never released a soundtrack for this movie because the score by Barry DeVorzon is great too. I feel so very lucky to have found this single. Later in the week I will post the b-side song “Highwire,” which is also from the film.
